CrossFit Rubicon in Tysons Corner, Virginia hosted the third annual Working Wounded Games last Saturday. The brainchild of David “Chef” Wallach and the Crossroads Alliance, this is the first CrossFit(TM) styled competitions that level the playing field for severely wounded veterans and permanently injured civilians.
We did some banners and signs for it, which is fine, but I was not prepared for the power and emotion of the event. It was so much more than I expected. I will definitely be volunteering next year. Take a minute to watch the video and appreciate what’s been done here.
